Outboard Marine Corporation is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Aftermarket manufacturers typically have no affiliation with Outboard Marine Corporation. Aftermarket companies manufacture stern drives and stern drive parts designed to replace OMC & OMC Cobra stern drives. As with any after-market product, any warranties governing products manufactured and/or sold by OMC will not apply to products manufactured and/or sold by aftermarket manufacturers or to products damaged due to the operation of an aftermarket product.
